Title: Google+ Invites
Post by: Tbone on July 03, 2011, 01:15:08 pm: I know Manic and Fuse both managed to get an invite, and should both be able to invite others once they open up the invitation system (it's currently down due to "insane demand"). If you want an invite, post your email addy here so they'll know to send you one. For me...

Fuse, aren't hangouts via video? Or can it be just audio as well?

MV brought up a great point - it would work amazingly well for interviews.

Yup, he's right. I just checked the email and just asks if i wanted G+ to keep me posted on when they are taking invitations.

Same thing with Google Docs and Google Calendar, I believe. It looks like all of the Google apps are going for a unified appearance.

I know there is a nickname thing, but I have yet to figure out how to hide my name from circles and have my nickname show, or to even hide anything. It's basically a Google version of Facebook. Many hope it will end the horrific reign of Facebook but only time will tell.
