Title: DarthHater Database

At the drop of a hat, DarthHater was ready to go live with their Database powered by Curse. It's looking like the real deal, and most likely the one we'll be referring to. Check it out here (http://db.darthhater.com/). We've added a link to it to our bottom toolbar and I'll probably put it on our main menu as well.

The database contains items, quests, NPCs, locations, recipes, missions, abilities, and tools that include talent calculator, talent builds, and item comparison.

I bunch of these types of sites popped up today.

http://www.torhead.com is the most notable, because the site this is based off of is the king of all things wow info related. Curse + DH is gonna be the only other that will compete.

I had some high hopes for http://www.r2db.com but looks like they were left out of loop for when NDA was going to drop.

Interesting, if torhead (which it most likely will) operates and functions exactly as wowhead did/does it will be a great site to have on hand with the DH+Curse one. I used wowhead a lot and where sometimes the content can be user rated or posted and not always accurate, since the community loves the game/site so much they always put the right information and in most cases is highlighted to a different color  to indicate accuracy.

Gonna message lithium separately but anyway we could have the DB script added to the FA site so we can do the whole tooltip linking?

that would be nice, love mouseover abilities to get descriptions. saves lots of page flipping.

Hmm, so that doesn't work...

Tooltips work with DarthHater, Torhead, and R2-DB. Just use the URL BBcode tag. You won't be able to get any of the special class features to work though (auto-color and images). It doesn't work with HTML, even after enabling it for the forums. Not sure why not. So stick with the BBcode for now.
