Yes, another random movie thread. But I've noticed that a lot of our members really like Kill Bill Volumes 1&2 and also Pulp Fiction, so I figured everyone could appreciate this.
It'd be pretty hard for me to diffinitively choose a favorite, but I think if I had to my top two would be Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.
-
Yes, Reservoir Dog's is my pick for best movies of the 90's, over the Matrix. Wait, im not full up on my movie history, Resevoir Dog's came out in the 90's, right? Oh, god damnit, brain free-
-
Yeah it did...92 I wanna say...At least that's when I think it showed up at Sundance.
-
The only one I seen is Kill Bill (vol 1& 2). One of these day I am going to watch Pulp Fiction.
Glorious Bastards is coming up soon.
-
I'd pick Pulp Fiction.
-
Definitely Pulp Fiction - huge entertainment value.
-
Yup, I was laughing my butt off when that poor bastard got shot in the head in the back of the car, if I could only remember all the names =/
-
pulp fiction, then a short film he made called "4 rooms", then killbill 1/2 :)
-
Pulp Fiction was the first Tarantino movie I was exposed to, so it will probably always be my favorite, although Reservoir Dogs was an excellent movie. I really liked Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2. Did he do Jackie Brown? I can't remember but I never did see that one.
-
pulp fiction althoe i really liked kill bill vol. 1 and am waitin to see vol.2
-
Pulp Fiction, hands down.
-
pulp fiction
-
I haven't seen all of his movies but I did like Pulp Fiction.
-
He did Jackie Brown, Resevior Dogs, Kill Bills and Pulp fiction, he also did som writing not directing for a couple of films. He did another film before Resevior Dogs but it bombed, much like the Wbrothers other films.
But for me Pulp Fiction wins it, then Kill Bill Vol 1 then RD The Kill Bill Vol 2.
-
BMF.... that gets my vote.
-
Jackie Brown was pretty good, but it just paled in comparison to Pulp Fiction.
And I think the guy who was shot in the head by Vincent was named Marvin, or Martin.
-
I know he was IN Desperado, not sure what else he had to do with that though.
Of the strictly QT films....Kill Bill Vol 2 so far. Pulp Fiction a very close second.
Resivoir Dogs has the best soundtrack though.
Now...if you morph this into Harvey Keitel flicks....
"Smoke" and "Blue in the face" .....Auggie rocks.
Hey, look ma! A tangent!
-
I've seen them all and I order them as this.
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill 2
Kill Bill 1
Resivor Dogs
Jackie Brown
-
I honestly can't remember a film of his I didn't enjoy.
I recently saw a commercial for the movie coming out later this month called Ying xiong, aka Hero, which he helped to bring over here from Asia. I saw it a year or so ago and it's an excellent movie. It turns out that Tarantino agreed to put his name somewhere on the film if they agreed not to edit it since he enjoyed it so much.
-
pulp fiction hands down, then resevoir dogs, kill bill, and kill bill vol2 falling dead last..
-
Hero looks really good. A lot of critics have been saying it lacks the emotional power of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (which I guess is what's it's being compared to for the time being), but the cinematography and action sequences more than make up for it.
-
i saw the japanese w/ english subs version of Hero, i enjoyed it...
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Hero
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill (1&2)
Four Rooms
-
Reservoir Dogs
