Having your alt finish chapter 2 in their class quests means your main gets their buff. For example, my Jedi Guardian now gives the Smuggler buff.
Having a level 50 player run you through this really helps you move along quickly. Brighid, a Commando, ran me from the beginning of chapter 2 to the end of chapter 2 in the space of one day.
What it doesn't do is give your alt a lot of experience points. The 50 absorbs most of the XP, so by the time we got to the end we were fighting level 41's while I was only level 34.
You'll still see the whole story line and experience all that fun, but it won't be a tactical challenge at all.
Per Broin's suggestion, take the opportunity here to let people know you've got an alt that needs leveling or you've got a 50 that's willing to help someone out.
Hopefully everyone can work out a quid-pro-quo and get all the buffs in FA's Flashpoints, Warzones and Operations.

My Level 36 Gunslinger (Milhouse) is through chapter 2, so I'm good there.
My Level 50 Guardian (Vanhouten) is available to help folks on Friday mornings to early afternoon.

I had this idea a few days ago. Basically I want to get a group of people and take turns leveling various alts through the class story. It's on the list.

I have the following alts:
Commando Trooper - Level 34 about to close out Alderan
Shadow Consular - Level 34 and on Hoth
Of course Mharz is available to help out when needed.

Broin and I tested this today. I got all the way to Nar Shaddaa (through Ord Mantell, Coruscant, and Taris) in about two and a half hours or so. Starting out on Nar Shaddaa now, I'm level 11...heh.
It's pretty quick and easy to do, especially now that Sprint is a LEVEL 1 ABILITY! I imagine if you could afford the Rocket Boost it'd go even quicker.

It took 6.5 hours to get through chapter 1.
HOWEVER, you cannot go to Quesh until you complete the level 33 quest to get inoculated. I was level 18. So I have to level to 33 until I can continue my class quest.
Basically, this is useless.

So, what Tbone is saying that this will only be viable once you're in your low 30's and they can push you through Quesh/Hoth. By that point, however, you really only have a planet and a half to do, and it should only take you an hour or so to do just the class quests on those planets.
It is not viable to power a Level 1 all the way to the end of Chapter 2, as they won't get enough XP to be able to do the quest on Quesh.

So basically you're stuck unless you're 28 because you can take quests 5 levels higher right? (Yellow quests are 2-3 levels higher and red are 4-5 right?)

I suppose it would still be useful if you leveled up mostly through PvP and neglected your questing.
But then again, that's not very efficient leveling at all...

Quesh is a level 36-37 planet. At best it is level 31 you can get the quest. However, Hoth has a similar inoculation required to keep you from dieing from the cold, and I assume that is an even higher level.
