Oculus has been rather hush hush the past few months about what's going on behind those closed doors, and while that hasn't changed yet, we're starting to get an idea of the magnitude of what they are accomplishing.

Oculus raised another $75 million in Series B funding, getting Marc Andreessen and partner Chris Dixon to become a part of the board.

"Dixon tells The Verge. He was impressed with the first developer kit he saw last year, but not enough to invest. Now, however, he says that Oculus has achieved what he was looking for."

CliffyB visited Oculus recently and tweeted:

"Just visited Oculus and what I saw there... Wow. Just wow."

There's a long list of features that everyone wants in their perfect VR headset, but just how many are Oculus going to fit into this first consumer version? For now we know that the resolution, latency, and tracking have all been greatly improved from the dev kits. Everything after that is speculation at the moment! Expect more news in January when Valve has a conference that features many talks about VR!
