Title: Francis goes ZAP!

Well, my motherboard and processor just got screwed from a power surge due to the hurricane, so right now I'm typing this up on a laptop that doesn't really work to well. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back on TS soon when the hurricane clears out and I can get out to get a new motherboard/processor. AMD64 or P4 3.2?  :D

Ouch. That really sucks. Did you lose all your games and such? I would hate to have to reinstall and redownload all my games, know what I mean?

As far as I can tell, my hard drives are safe. I shouldn't need to reinstall or redownload any of my games/programs. I hope our other FL members are safe also, since most of them were practically in the eye of the storm.

Well, I think Seven lives in Florida and the TS servers went down and he's not answering the phone. Hrmm...

Yeah.

Seven is from Tampa.

The eye is a few miles east of Tampa right now.

I'm pretty sure they don't have any power over there.

Let's hope that we don't lose any stuff from flooded servers :-)

You a hardcore gamer? Go with the AMD.
You use the computer as a professional business tool, utilizing all that power for non-entertainment purposes? Well, damn, good for you and go with the Intel.
Athlon does a better gaming CPU in my opinion. Just what I think, though.
