Title: Tired of George Lucas?

Why would he go back and alter THX 1138?

That movie was great...... now it has been shamed by LUCAS in his guest for perfection. Had he excerted as much effort in the episode I & !! they may have been GREAT movies instead of just a decent Prequel.

Sorry to bitch about Lucas....... But it HAD to be done.

I could NEVER be sick of Lucas or those movies... I admit i took the VHS out of the boxs last weekend and watched em all :)

My conclusion is that people turn original movies into god-status, and when the creator tries to do anything with them, pre-quel sequels to them or w/e they can never live up to the movies that have reached celestial status.

But OF I agree with you completely on the point of why can he not make new movies. I mean is he scared? Was his creativity spent and completely expended on making the SW movies? I mean...come on...but hey I'm not in his head.

Actually....

Chewie jumped up and gave a "Rrrraooooowwr!" as a distraction. Yes, the Droid shot at Chewie, but it left Han open to take the shot.

Post by: Anonymous on September 14, 2004, 10:16:18 am: Actually, George Lucas has done more than Star Wars. He wrote Star Wars and Indiana Jones. At the very least he's a very good writer. Plus, he knows what movies to finance! (anything Spielberg does!)
