General / Unforgiven going inactive

A couple weeks ago my department was notified it will undergo restructuring, and so I have been fighting to keep my position.

Lately it has been just work and sleep for me so it's been hard to get on at all. Just letting you guys know I'm not abandoning, just dealing with the real world.

This was posted yesterday in the tester forums. I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to partake?

Non-VR Games / Possible Speed Exploit

If using the trackpad on a laptop to zoom out, it goes beyond the limitations seen in the mouse wheel.

I can't tell whether it's just an illusion or a speed advantage and was hoping someone else can verify this in game. It appears that when zoomed out, I can get from point "A" to "B", about half a second to one full second faster. I've reported this glitch already.

PS - if I should remove the video, let me know. This video is private and not crawlable (according to vimeo plus)

Non-VR Games / Help w/ system reqs to run SWTOR

Suppose my future rig contains:

500W Power
i5 or i7 3.0+ cpu
2 gts450
4 gb RAM pc3-10600

Based, off what's been leaked and released, do you think that would be MORE THAN enough to run SWTOR? or just about right?

It would seem pointless to speculate now but I just need a general sense of how much I need to save. I've been away from PC gaming since MxO so my grasp on what graphix quality/performance/cost should be are off.

FYI: I played MxO with a geforce 5700, 1gb ram, and p4 1.7ghz. the frame rate was meh, but I'd like to have a nice experience with swtor and see it running smoothly.

I'm getting back into MMO's and I'm wondering if DCUO's worth it. Both games seem interesting, but since I haven't played either but if anyone's been in both games please leave your two cents. =)
