Where's the RP?

All I see is people intent on power leveling?  Does the RP start after we're all lvl 50?

I'm not complaining because I've been in on a few power leveling groups myself....mainly because that is all anyone is doing and I'd be the odd one out if I didn't join in, but I guess I'm kinda wondering..."what's the plan?"

yea. i havn't had a real need to load my main branches (patcher/virologist). i just run missions as a spy, switch to my other branches, level up the skills / buy new ones, switch to spy and start over. i do believe that once april 4th comes, things will change.

we're basically in preperation for the upcoming battle. Once that comes... most likely we'll be getting things done. Lot's of us RP at parties more often that on the streets as well. I know mazda is a Digital RP pimp ingame...

Yeah the grind gets to you but I'd rather have it out of the way and over with. Why are most of use power leveling atm? We've got plenty of enemies and are often the center of talk which means we've also have a few groups out there wanting to kick are arse.  Come the fourth their chance will come and I for one would like to be prepared weather that be in the form of a combantant or just your simply plain ass coder monkey. We'll have plenty of time to RP especialy when the story gets going but for now its just prep work. I'd like to have all my little bunnys in a row so I can do the most when I'm needed.

I just wish that there were people around my level to level with. I've spent the last 2 days on, and running solo missions. That equals 1 level for about 4-6 hours of play. And that's barely.

I think its wise to load up the spy tree up until disguise (and later invisibility) and just run infultration missions. (maybe get hacker for hacking / download mission map as well). the cost of loading up those skills will pay for themselves with the levels you will obtain. you may not ever use that tree after catching up with everyone, but its still worth it to me. you can run those missions solo or in a group.

my main goal for leveling is coding, since the success and efficiency in coding is directly related to the character's level. at level 21 i am just now being able to decompile and code out buffed items that actually serve some sort of purpose. about level 30ish is a happy medium for coders.

as far as missions go, xorsyst hit the nail on the head. the only thing is that it's best to have someone level 25+ call missions so that they spawn close, not 1500+m away. either one person can load up those spy abilities and run while everyone else tags along, or else you can switch off. you also have to enter the mission area at least once during the mission to get xp, which i found out the hard way =/ i am level 21 right now, but once i get up to 25 i will be more than happy to start running missions for those lower levels, since so many people helped me get this high by tagging along.

Tagging along would be nice. I guess I just haven't found anyone who has really had time to let me do that. LoL, its all good.

RP is just starting to take it's place, see... we've been waiting for the actual storyline to come into play... and now it is starting, so RP is sure to follow
