I have been gone for a while but I think I am finally back. I have something really cool to let you guys all in on. Recently I have beed working at a boy scout camp, because that is what I do with my summers, and a friend of mine and I decided to begin working on a comic book that I am writing and he is drawing. We were thinking about getting it published but we decided the internet might be a better idea so we are ordering ourselves a domain and getting started on a site. The basic premis:
A soldier low in the ranks dies in an extremly anti-climactic way and then raised from the dead by an eccentric old wizard who doesn't even realize he has done so. He is raised as a zombie and is extremly displeased with this because death was an unbelieveable sensation and he was brought back for no reason and half dead. Armed only with some ragged clothes and a fraction of his gravestone containing the three letters "Zom" he heads out to try and become dead again. That is when he realizes that he is a zombie and can't die, therefor he must become alive again before he can die again... Thus the story unfolds.

many characters will join the characters in this comedy/fantasy comic book that will hopefully be better then wet, moldy bread that has been sitting out. Let me know what you think.

sounds cool, hope you do make it on the net, i will be a regualer reader, there is a site called loadingreadyrun.com they print there own comics, check it out and email them to get tips, you never know, they might even give you spot on the site.

We could put it up as a book and you could just buy it off the net *whistle while averting eyes*

this is what we were thinking. We are going to make it in a format as if it were a book and just put it on the internet. So it won't be a webcomic; it will just be a comic that is on the web. That makes it so we can put it into print if we want to... and we do.

Now there's an interesting idea for a comic. How'd the soldier die anyway, friendly fire? Did a piece of equipment fall and chip out a piece of his skull and expose his brain to the atmosphere? hehe, guess I should keep my morbid thoughts to myself

Yeah that's a little morbid :-p I think we were going to have the frame show a really climactic battle, then zoom out to him watching. Meanwhile he is describing it as though he were the hero. Then he trips and falls, and is trampled by a cart or something like that :-) something silly
