Anyone have a good place or stratagy to get info?   Since running around grabbing nodes,  my level is way higher then my skills.

Your best bet is to hunt monsters.  A bunch of us have our own little private coves, but there are places all over the world where NPCs spawn that you can beat down in private for info,
