The MxO forums have now changed to allow aliases to be used.  Basically it doesn't have to be your username anymore.

It always bugged me that it was different.  It just harder to track someone when is MxO alias is different from what we know a person as in game or in the FA forums.

You just need to go in your MxO profile and put whatever alias you want to show as in the MxO forums.

Hurry up, it might have to be unique.  Get in and claim your alias before someone else does !

No, it doesn't have to be unique. But I recommend changing it soon anyway! Don't want anybody looking down on us for not using capitalization...

I think it might be cool if we represent on the beta forums...ie: add [FA] to our names.
I changed my name from beleev to [FA]Beleev.

Question, should the captains put a Cpt. prefix before their names to denote the great accomplishment of captainship in FA?

My opinion on that is that "[FA]" is enough.  I think having a uniform "[FA]xxx" for all FAs is better than a few "[FA]", a few "[FA Captain]" and one "[FA Commander]".

If you want to specify that you're a captain, put it in your sig.

Yeah, uniformed [FA] is good. Captainship and stuff, if you want to acknowledge it, should be somewhere in the sig.

Besides, is it really a smart idea?  In war, you never salute your commanding officer so the enemy won't know who to kill first.
