Agreed We do not truely know if Neo died.  For all we know he went into another coma.

nah neo isn't technically dead, he was just assimilated back into the matrix to fix the anomoly (SP).

Neo is dead because the Wachowski's used TWO literary allusions to the death of a king at the end of revolutions.  The first, when Neo allows Smith to take him over, thus acting as a conduit to reattach Smith to the source and allow the source to delete Smith, Neo was lifted up by Deus Ex Machina to a crucifixtion pose.  An allusion to the death of Jesus.  The second, Deus Ex Machina places Neo on a raft and he floats away, like King Arthur was and sent to the Isle of Avalon, where all of the Northern European Kings go after they die.

If only I had time to get into this debate I would....but I have argued Neo's life for so long now it just kinda tires me out. Everyone who knows me well enough in FA knows how I feel about Neo, so lets just wait and see how it plays out in game. In the mean time ill try and grind my way through school and work, ugh :/
