Sorry to tell you guys but upon my last jack out my personal equipment was ruined. Originally I thought the problem was replaceable, and it would just mean that I would be unable to jack in for a short time. It looks like the problem is much worst then I thought and the time to replace the parts will be much longer, long enough in fact that I might not have my RSI when I get back. Before I wrote this message I had a proxy switch over all Matrix Captain duties to Dagonet. This was my choice and a quick choice since he is/was my first mate. In the higher council this choice could be changed, but I expect the crew to be taken well care of in any case. I plan to help with the operator duties on the ship itself but will not be able to jack into the Matrix any time soon. Time message is just to let everyone know what is happening.

OOC: In short I thought my refurbished video card had died on me. After testing it, it seems like it is either my motherboard or the power supply (again), and it leaning toward the prior. If it is the motherboard, between having to replace it and having to by a copy of an operating system (since it is a Dell motherboard) its looking like a 300 odd dollar fix, something I can not afford at a poor college student. So I won’t be paying for my account again until I know that I can get everything in working order again. So just in case things need to be handled in game Dagonet will be taking over for now. This has all plans to be temporary, but it could be upwards of 6 months before I can get back in. I hope that Tbone lets me stay on as an operator, because I really like having the titled of longest active FA member.

I have a copy of Dell XP Home already, but the problem is if I change the motherboard the Dell OS is worthless. I would have to get a full copy of XP.

What the hell, I have no reason to leave the faction, I just can't be in game. That's why I still want to take on an operator roll for the faction. I mean yet, you might find your RSI might be missing the clip for your gun buts that's just me having to relearn the coding for the Matrix.
