Does the playing of SC while DRIVING scare anyone else but me?

I won't be the one driving. :p That would be rather scary...

Although, I am a damn good IM/Texter while driving. :) Capitalization, grammar, the whole shabang.  While shifting gears. :x

Just finished, and won, my first game. Very cool game so far, and not just the actual playing of it, but the layout and detail of the UI, the waiting room, the replays, achievements, and end game details are amazing.

holy crap... I just won a game I had absolutely no business winning. I'm about to load the replay up and Fraps it.

It was a 2v2. My partner got attacked at the start of the game, but instead of sticking it out, he disconnected. So now it's 1v2, toss vs z&p, I was focusing on my base, so have a very small army. Thanks to them not taking me out right away, amazing macro by myself (about 53 average APM), and one of the guys completely fucking up and saying "ready to attack?" in all channel - I was able to kill them both. Also a huge help was having observers everywhere. On the second to final push at the bottom after the zerg said "ready to go?" I waited until I saw that all the air was about mid-map. This allowed me a bit of time to attack what I could, because I could not have taken on both their forces at the time. Then instead of pushing in when I saw them coming back I pulled out and went around where I knew they couldn't see me (thanks again observers!) and also thanks to placement of some stargates to keep them busy I was able to take them down.

That will make more sense when I get the video up later this week. =)

If this were a movie I'd be excited too.  But these teaser trailers are the only time we'll see anything that good looking.  The actual game will boil down to who can launch a "zerg" rush the fastest.  Lol. I hope there's at least some good cut scenes.

"13 minutes of pre-rendered cinematics and 32 minutes of in-engine on-the-fly cinematics."

THat sure seems like a lot to me.

Did you get a chance to play the beta? I found it easier to defend against a zerg rush. Plus, with the matchmaking/scoring machanic of the new BN, I expect to lvl out of the asshats that do that anyways. The higher skilled players rarely will ling rush because of fear the other knows how to defend it.

Terran for sure has an advantage when it comes to defense early in the game. Toss still needs some tweaking, but with a block point, it's also more than manageble.

Yeah I played the beta, mostly as Terran. I am a bit rusty at StarCraft but damn! I don't think I played more than 10 minutes per match.

It depends on your play style... most serious players will only have about 10 minute games. Usualy the ones that are all macro will last forever and then only have one or two large battles.
