Darkfall Account Activation - Question

Ok I've downloaded the torrent of the game from http://www.eu1.darkfallonline.com/dl/DarkfallFull/ and of course it says activation required or some jazz like that.  Now when i do actually manage to catch the store before it sells out, do I have to shell out the 50 some odd usd or just go for the account of 15$ and change?  :d

You have to pay the $50, and then after your first month of free subscription, then you pay the $15 a month.
