If you're a fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber's....

Andrew Lloyd Webber is a joke, he just steals music from Pink Floyd and calls it his.

Don't believe everything you think.

Dag, that is amazing. I love it. She hits every note with grace and perfection. Amazing I tells ya. Gotta show my sister. She loves The Phantom of the Opera. Thanks for posting that :)

If I may interject my proffessional opinion...

THAT is a soprano! Beautiful beautiful voice! I'm putting that on my MP3 player... makes me want to get better speakers to do her performance justice.

But let's not attribute any of that to Andrew Llyod Webber, shall we? He's a talentless jerk who lucked up with one great masterpiece (Phantom) and a slew of rotten shows that somehow stay on Broadway. I mean really... did anyone actually enjoy CATS?...  *sigh* Phantom is awesome, but it's not the Llyod Webber norm.

As a note of interest.... did you know that Christine Daae's parts were written so high because Llyod Webber was married to Sarah Brightman at the time? He wrote everything for her, to showcase her incredible range.

I did, but I hate the way Brightman performs it. Rossum did a better job in the film version, and she's barely legal. Also, I wish to revise what I said to "If you're a Phantom of the Opera" fan.
If all the world's problems were solved today, what would you have left to do tomorrow?

I totally agree... Christine is supposed to be young and very talented, but not very experienced... Brightman's voice can't disguise it's years and years of experience and Prima Donna quality that Christine is supposed to be the opposite of.

I fell asleep watching Law and Order today and had a dream:

We all created secret alts and created a faction called the Zion Bureau of Internal Affairs and went after Outlaw54
