I'd laugh if it misfired and shot it straight into the TV.  In any case who would want a shook up beer?  And how does it keep it cool?

They way the mechanism winds up and fires I do not believe there's too much shaking at launch to cause the can to build up too much pressure. Thus as long as you absorbed the catch, I imagine the beer will still be smooth and delicious. However, I do feel that much needed field testing is required, and I humbly offer my services ^_^

To answer your second question, the mechanism is integrated into the refrigerator and opens a small door on top of it from which it can draw up the beer. Thus as long as the seal is relatively good, the beer should remain cold.

oh, hey by the way... not really important enough to have it's own thread, I'm going up to Jackson for the weekend to see my friend's show. I won't have internet access Thrusday night through Sunday night, so just letting ya'll I didn't dissapear into the theatre department again. If there's like, I dunno... some kind of FIRE or HURRICANE onboard the Libertas, a couple of ya'll have my cell number. I don't really see how anything could really be THAT pressing, but whatev...
