My first thought was to get a modular power supply but, other than that feature, this one was better than the modular psu options I had in the right price range. I originally intended to get twice as much hard drive space too, but money was definitely a factor.

I just finished getting everything set up on my new system and compared to the pre-built one I had before this thing is incredible. I have to stick with the onboard sound for now because my old sound card is PCI and one of the two PCI slots on this thing is blocked by the video card.

My first instinct when I saw this equation was 2, but it's been so long. Now I feel old.
On a side note, for some reason if you try doing this on the calculator that comes with Windows it'll refuse to put the 2 in the equation. 24
Non-VR Games / FA Raiding System« on: April 01, 2011, 05:32:47 pm »Quote from: "NoCry" ahh, need or greed was in age of conan too. Was it not abused however by people "needing" something they ought to have "greeded"? It's common for that feature to be abused when grouping with random people, but when hunting with friends and guildmates it's a pretty efficient way to keep things moving. 25

I've always felt rather strongly that everyone who takes part in a particular raid should have a shot at the items they need that drop during that raid. Basing loot distribution on how many times you've been able to take part in raids in the past makes attendance pointless for the people who have real life obligations during most raid times but finally luck out and are able to attend one. That said, someone who has already received one of the good drops during the current raid should probably let the following ones go to others who haven't yet.

General / Champions Online - Free to Play« on: February 26, 2011, 12:44:38 pm »Quote from: "ArchNemesis" I don't have a problem messaging people that aren't in my friend's list... Unless by message you aren't refering to tells. It was saying that it was a result of being on a newly created account. I assume that's meant to make it harder for gold sellers and the like to just hop on a new free account every time they want to send out another batch of spam messages. The account I'm on now shouldnt have that problem, so now it's just a matter of catching people online. 28

I reinstalled it last night and had a little fun, but the power restrictions on free to play combined with the inability to message anyone who's not already in the friends list sucked. So... reactivating my old account for now.

so what're the power restrictions like on the free to play version? After the types of characters I got used to making on there, the thought of any power restrictions sounds horrible to me.
