Cassette Adapter Problems
« on: November 24, 2005, 02:35:34 pm »
So I've had the Monster Cassette Adapter for my iPod for a while. It worked well for a couple of weeks, but then it started making this clicking noise from the tape deck. From what information I've gathered, you can remove something from the cassette that resolves this problem. Unfortunately, I cannot find instructions on exactly what to remove and how to remove it. Can any of you help me find the solution? Thanks!

I got impatient so I cut off this plastic piece that I thought was causing the clicking. It did kinda stop clicking, but now the audio sucks and the volume is all but muted. Bah, looks like I'm just gonna have to get a new one.

Why don't you get an iTrip or another form of FM transmitter?

FM trasmitters suck - comparitively. A cassette adapter's audio is much better
