Quite a nifty wee invention, however I am still a bit lost.  Can anyone help me to make it look a little bit more like Messenger was, for example is it possible to make the contacts sort so that the online people are at the top and the offline ones are at the bottom in alphabeticle order etc..

Assuming that the unregistered works the same as pro, you should be able to right click in the contacts area and Sort... Alphabetically and Contact List Options... Hide Offline Contacts.

The Hide Offline Contacts option doesn't actually hide them, it creates a new folder called Offline Contacts and shoves them in it.

If it doesn't work the same as the registered version, then I have no clue.

watch out too - strange characters being used in screen names may not appear correctly. Other than that, I love it!

Heh... that's the only problem I had with Trillian while using my MSN account with it... people's MSN display names would be something like XXX:D:D:O:D:X:D:D:X:D:O:D:DXXX, and I wouldn't remember who the hell they were, because I was used to seeing the smilies.

My contacts all merged and now I get messages that say "Contact list over the 200 limit", which causes many people to not to appear online when, in fact, they are.

trillian was nice for a while and then i got quite irritated when i couldn't get full aim profiles (i.e. it was just text and i had no access to links) ... and it's pretty buggy ... but yes it's a nifty idea if you didn't have to pay to get a perfect version ... meh!

Yeah, I used Trillian Pro for a few months because I liked some of the add-ons, like the logging feature and especially the talking wizard Merlin. It was cool at first to be able to get an IM and have it read to me while I was lieing in bed watching TV or something. But after a while, I got pissed off when I realized there was no way to fix the profiles. When I got a copy of Dead AIM, I just went back to AIM.

HTML profiles need to be enabled. I'll post the dll (for those who obviously don't have it) and screenies of the doubter's profiles inside of trillian when I get home. Heh.
