They brainwash us as children with that BS story of pilgrims and indians stuffing their faces with food and giving thanks.  But the thing really is, it's turkey slaughter day - and we give thanks that the brits had brought guns to the new world and they were used against the indians before the indians could aquire an amount of their own.  I think the origin of the holiday is stupid, but I'm pretty sure that Lincoln made it something just for a day off from work.

Uhh...yeah...I'm still visiting family, but I plan on returning either tomorrow night or early Sunday.

For Christmas...hmm, I've been thinking on that one...

1. New flatscreen monitor?

2. New jacket?

3. Digital video camera?

4. Lasik eye surgery (definitely already getting that. I have the appointment time and everything. No more glasses!)

5. GrimKit...err...I mean...uhh...socks??
