Movie Ideas

I believe there is another thread for this but I couldn't fin...er was too laz...my dog ate it. Anyways, we all need to discuss new ideas for this. Here is sorta where it stands as of earlier  tonight. We are looking at showing different groups of FA members taking part in various activites around the matrix. Please list your ideas here, please specify how many ppl will be needed and a general plan of how it would work, thanks. Here are some examples:

1. 2 FA members having dinner (I'll give you one guess who they will be). They both get a phone call and run off immediately. **This would be easy to act out, no explanation needed.
2. 3-4 FA members chillin in a hot tub, they all get calls, run off.**Not sure exactly where a hottub is, but the illusion could be created by using the corner of a fountain, and the members sitting in it.
3. 2 FA members dueling, get calls, run off.** Again, no explanation needed.
4. A group of FA hanging out in a night club. They all get calls run off.** This could be recreated preferrably at an event, otherwise the party would like pretty lamers.

You all get the idea....roll with it.

Acutally I like your ideas very much.  The only thing I have a question on, is how would you get people to kindof cooperate at an event and not be dueling one another?

Ok people time to take off the blinders and think OUTSIDE the box, if something doesn't make sense, there is prolly a better way to do it. We can recreate a club scene by just using our own members in different clothing. Honestly, if you are going to criticize, offer a better suggestion. Ok? Who wants to fight?

Seriously though, I was just trying to help you see that it's impractical to film during an event.

Quick film idea.  Find a long hallway, then have people run in and out of doors in fast-motion with Benny Hill music playing.

Ok, I have a few suggestions.  I think we touched on this yesterday and it seemed we all liked the idea of everyone getting a call in different places.  However, we should be doing things related to freeing bluepills.  Which means, no hot tubbing.  

1.The dinner scene seems ok, but maybe they should be sitting with an anonymous person (not in FA uniform) to make it look like they're taking care of some sort of business.

2.  Like I said, this doesn't make sense.

3. 2 members training in a dojo sounds good.

4. The club scene is a good idea.  This could be done with our own members.  The clubbers won't wear our FA attire.

Other ideas:
5. 1 member at a computer.
6. Members sitting at a conference table
7. 1 member on a rooftop looking down on Pedestrians

We should also get a couple shots of members running to/disappearing through hardlines

Good ideas Beleev. I see what you mean by saying we should be trying to free blue pills. I was just hoping this could also illustrate that we are not all about one aspect of gaming. Many of us like to take part in RP, events, that sort of thing. Being that this is supposed to be a recruitment video, I thought it would be a good idea to show prospective members what all we have to offer. Personally, I spend equal ammounts of time training and taking part in the comunity. It was just a thought. Again, I see what you mean tho.

Another restaurant scene that I think would work is in a crowded resuarant/club with a VIP area (Deus, perhaps).

The VIP area could be guarded by FA, Tbone & Co. could be sitting at the table or looking over the balcony at the happenings below, maybe chatting.  As this happens, the scenes could cut back & forth to a bluepill being escorted to meet the Commander, like an interview setup.

The club could even get rushed by another faction (played by FA members, of course).  I suggest decking er'body (couldn't help it) out in TC's new look, just for Seraosha.  While some FA proceed to destroy the invaders, a couple could escort the bluepill from the area.  Tbone could watch us wipe them out, then we could escort someone back to him for questioning (or for execution, especially if it was supposed to be Seraosha).  EDIT: Tbone could challenge the leader that is escorted to him to a duel...or get in on the battle from the very beginning.

Short scene perhaps, but a longer scene if you elaborate the contacting & locating of the bluepill...or drag out the fight to show the multiple people involved or the different aspects in more detail, i.e. the bluepill escape.  To be honest I think the finding of the bluepill should be minimal in the grand scheme of things.  I think the stopping of the immediate Machinist threat would look sweet.

Yes!  It is always great to bring Monty Python to an event.

If you wanted an interesting shot, have a large group of potentials at a Dojo being trained.  Imagine 20+ (number doesn't matter) all dressed in white martial arts uniforms with tbone (and possibly one or two senior staff) in colored uniforms instructing the masses.

Or the infamous jump program with an instructor and a line of potentials preparing to take their first jump "Free your mind!"

We also have to make sure we have our own theme.  Seemed like Sevker's was about a bluepill.  I think ours should be about us, the FA, what we do and why we do it.  Yes, a Bluepill could be involved, but I think I'd rather focus on a plot that will show our numbers and how powerful we are.  Maybe 'Love' could be a theme...The way I pictured it, This would be its own small story inside the Matrix world.  Like in the Matrix comics.

An Idea:

Scene 1: T and Grim, somewhere together (This scene should establish their connection with eachother).  They can be dining, sitting on a couch, or training like in 'Last flight of the Osiris'.  Or something to show a connection.  ##Insert ideas here
Scene 2: Grim gets a call for a mission, shes needed on.  They hug and go their seperate ways.
Scene 3: Grim gets into some trouble on this mission and is captured by agents before getting to a hl.
Scene 4: Cut to T, being enraged by this...and makes a faction wide phone call.
Scene 5-10:  These scenes will be where everyone will be receiving the call to meet up.
Scene 11: We all meet T in a secluded place in the Matrix...A Barren's apt sounds good or maybe something bigger(and have alot of members).  Where we're debriefed on the situation.
Scene 12:  We head out to save her.
Scene 13-15: Shows us using seperate ways to get in the building or accessing the floors(ie: stairs, elevator, disable security devices( this could be done by having the spy /point or whatever emote will make him look like he's disabling and then someone could turn out the light...like the power went out)
Scene 16: We get her away from the agents...maybe with a smoke bomb or something.
Scene 17: We run/hj to a HL, where T and Grim can be reunited or just /kiss and let Grim disappear through the HL.

As you can see theres alot to work on with the specifics of this idea, but I think it would be a nice story.  It would also fit our song perfectly!

I think that is a good plot beleev..... basic theme and vague enough to add details to each scene. Another thing to think about is how long do we want the film to be? I know we may add other songs than our theme song but that one runs a little more than 5 mins..... should be enough time to do as mentioned.

On a side note.... Are we going to attempt to match up to VN's combat scene in their film? That alone would consume a lot of time and planning.



 (another quick thing to throw out, are we going to add text to the film? I've posted my opinion on what we should do in the whole Sevker video post, but I have an idea as to who our main nemesis should be (if we should kind of incororate one)...instead of using some random and generic Agent, we should have the Merovingian himself surrounded by his thugs (obviously they'll be in front of him)  he'll do a whole point towards us FA guys thing and run off, while his subordinates rush in to attack us (we'll have to type /duel beforehand on the people we'll be attacking)...the Spies in our faction can probably act as the Merv's henchmen/henchwomen, and we'll just need a character who looks like the Merovingian and dress him up as close to the Merv-man himself as possible...

If you need some people for the whole dueling part, I'm game to act that part out...that's if anyone can beat out my rolls lol...
