I don't know how things differ in the US job market, but when I go to employ somebody I'm looking for a strong work background and signs of progression - academics are the last item on my list, I don't think I've ever employed a graduate.  Or at least not one who lasted more than a month.  Meh.

AP classes are overrated. I have never seen the reason why a (future) Business major takes AP Chem, other then to up his college app. Like Destyn kind said, those people then think they know it all. And to me why would you want that kid. (I took AP US Govt & Politics, got a 3 on the test, (I was required to take the class. It was the only class that I had to past my senior year, gotta love switching schools.) and I autopassed PolSci 251and saved myself 200+ dollars. And PolSci 251 is a class that is required by the college, so all is right and good. But I took it for a reason and got good benefits out of it.
