My god.  This class blows...  Introduction to Programming Logic.  It would be all well and good if I hadn't taken actual programming classes in high school, Computer Programming 1 (Basic/Visual Basic.Net), and Computer Programming 2 (Java).  The class I'm in now is basically just a semester long class on what I learned in the first week of Computer Programming 1.  Learning how to draw out flowcharts, and write out psuedocode...  We don't even do any actual programming!  GAH!  The rest of the class, all 6 of them, are listening to this windbag go over the flowcharts to this programs, and telling them what the programs do, while I'm actually sitting here coding them.

programming sucks I had to take it for my computer technology degree ... ended up taking Q-basic VB.net Java and C+ and I hated every minute of it.  But, its weird cuz im good at it.  I like math and im good at math so natrually programming is a breeze but i just cant stand the shit lol.

oh yeah it pays real good. About 5 times what im gonna make.... well atleast my friend makes about 5 times.  He is making somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 to 600,000 a year doing programming

In all honesty, I thought chicks dig a man with money...? I'm making far more than I should at my age.

I have it worse than most. I went to school and learned a bunch of OOP languages. VB6, C, C++, .NET (VB, C++, C#, J#), J2EE, scripting languages (JavaScript, PHP, ASP), etc...
Then at my interview my manager asked how I felt about COBOL and PL/1 which I had never seen before! I said if your willing to pay me well and train me, I'm ok with it. SO now I have all this OOP experience and am coding in COBOL, PL/1, JCL, and SAS. lol Fucking Legacy systems! I'm planning on leaving this job for a military career in about 1-2 years NOT in programming where I'll make about 10k less than I am now. =(

Anyhoo also I'm in a bit of a pickle, I cannot decide whether to go to uni and do Architecture or do criminology....not sure :( I could be a dentist but it's not fun hammering the shit out of young kiddies' teeth :D
