Well technically Grim, you don't really need a boy these days ;)

I waited a long time before having kids.  Now that I have one, I wonder why I waited so long.  I'd like to get another one now.  If only I could convince my wife of perpetuating my genes once again...  I guess I'll have to use the heavy artillery: mink coat, trips and a new car :)

Ah women !

:D

Anyway... getting away from advances in medical science...

I must say that there is nothing more sweet than watching a little kid open a present, especially when they're young, you're a very lucky man to be where you are CoreDump, and I hope that some day I can be in the same position. To you Grim, I also just got to see a little one open many gifts from myself, and it pleased me to see my open-mouthed 21 month old niece jump up and down with excitement reciting her only known christmas words so far (HO HO HO!).

A good time was had by my entire family and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. I wish you all good health, happiness and success!

-~=+MERRY CHRISTMAS! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!+=~-

Ozari, I was in the same boat as you... I had my 18-month-old niece come to FL for a rainy Christmas. Besides the fact she got overwhelmed by the mounds of presents under the tree, and that it took about 3 hours to do about half the presents, it seemed somewhat nice. My only regrets were my rechargable batteries were empty and the flash media was full for my camera...

Whooohoo. I got an extended trip to Alabama and Florida with the family! What's more enjoyable than spending every waking moment for 10 days either driving with the family or eating or shopping or talking or...you get the picture! :D I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas!

My Christmas was a strange one by some standards.

I received a Ryobi gas powered edger / trim line weed-eater and a Home Depot gift card.  Decent because we just moved into a new home not long ago and it will really help out.

My wife on the other hand got a gift certificate to Victoria's Secret from my parents.   Now tell me...isnt that a little weird/creepy?

Beyond that, it was business as usual watching the kids make a disaster of the living room with wrapping paper and playing with all their retro type toys (light brite, care bear, webble wobbles (sp?) and other such stuff).

Thankfully most of it did not have loud obnoxious sounds (except for that damn YMCA Emlo thing!)

semiOctal, I think you're referring to Weebles ("Weebles wobble but they wont fall down!") I think everyone has some problem with an Elmo-like thing, so you're not alone.

About the lingerie, I think that means that her parents want more grandchildren from you two...

*sigh*

just so you know, victoria's secret also has a very good perfume/lotion line .... one mall had the downstairs part was like a bath and body works, and right above it was the lingerie. i only know this because my sister-in-law and i found the MOST wonderful smelling apple lotion stuff there ... meh i'm a sucker for anything apple, so yeah, victoria's secret is famous for the dainty things, but they have a whole crapload more ....

that just reminded me ..... i haven't been in a mall for about a year .... damn i suck at being a girl .... i almost painted my nails one day .... haha that was funny

hope everyone had a wonderful christmas! now it's time for new year's, so every be careful and don't "celebrate" too much ;)

Yea Don't "celebrate" too much we don't feel like randomly lighting candles for people.

I got my X-mas present early this year ... I got my son back.

My wife, at the time, took off with him on April 1st of this year, but just over a month later I found them halfway across the US ... I got him back the week of mother's day, and he has been with me since.
