Echo Coredump...

I was originally planning not to do this, but after reading Coredumps post, I couldn't resist.  This is officially my second and last resignation post.  Though some reasons are the same, I feel a bit differently than Core.

I left before, because the responsibilities of real life didn't let me be an active member.  I left as a captain, and a respected member in this community.  When I returned, it was a different story.  Even when I tried to be around frequently, I always felt like I was a step behind.  Everybody plays so often and for so long, I have reached the point where there is no point to me even playing.

In addition, I have felt like a second class member.  I have been with the clan longer than most anybody here, having been one of the founding members.  I was here when all we were was a few people with a message board, and a mysterious website.  Back then, everybody was equal, and nobody felt left out.  Now, it seems as if those with "power", whether it is because of a high position or a high level in-game, kinda walk around here like the own the damn place, bossing people around.  I don't like it, it's not what I'm here for.

Next, I'm not really into the whole internet friends thing.  Not to put down anybody in particular, but it's kinda pathetic to sit in front of a monitor and type on a keyboard for a social life.  Lately, I've started to go out to movies or a party with friends, and it makes TS or MxO that much less appealing.  And to reiterate my first point, if I only do it for a little while every once in a while, I can imagine how little some of you talk to real life people... to their faces.  It's not the type of social outcast I want to be.  I have to much to worry about with college admissions, senior year, and my in-person friends to take time to get to know all of you better.

To top it all off, I really miss some of the people that were my friends that I would talk to when I was a member last: Fox, Cephus, Siren, and (believe it or not some of you older members) Tyshalle.  I don't know for what reasons they left or were forced to leave, but the fact that we were similar people and they were not fit for this faction, shows me maybe it's not the place for me.

I ran for captain a few times to see if the added responsibilty would help, but alas, I repeatedly lost.  I know I would've used the authority to help solve some of the problems that plague the clan like I would in the past, but I was unable to from my peasents position.  So, to everyone that I had contact with, thank you for your company and conversation.  Tbone, thanks for the memories, and maybe I'll see you someday in Hollywood.  I will miss the old Tbone of the late CFR and Ragnarok, and early  FA.

Ok, I have just finished reading two post about people quitting. I love this faction, and i'm sure both you and Core are good people, but I must adress some key points.

One, With experience comes rank. You could play MxO for a year and have a lvl 32 character but when it comes to in game, not faction wise, lvl 50 have odviously enough experience in the game to be respected, not all of them mind you, but for the most part.

Two, the one thing i have ever heard of a leader requesting was this RP thing, the very thing that REALLY set this faction apart since the begining of Beta and BB (Before Beta).

Quit your wining and go with the show. It isn't even bad or negative what they are asking. I could understand, however, if you were to be upset because someone is forcing you to pay info or items to continue the guild experience. Thank you, goodbye

Tis sad for you leaving again. I have been here since the begining as well and even though occasionally their are those with powe,r not many actually boast it around. I have been here as long, if not longer, than you. I don't care whether i am seen as a respected high ranking person.. but i see everyone as a family and i hope others see me as the same. As with all things it takes time to get to know us, and if that isn't something you wish then... well this isn't the place for you. As always the angel isn't for everyone...
Good luck in what you are going to strive for...

Although I understand where you are coming from Enoc, the reason those members you named left, bar Tyshalle, was not because of changes within the faction but with the game itself. They were not patient or imaginative enough to see the game as a potential game rather than the finished product. Don't get me wrong, they were good people, but they lacked scope, something we will not be able to see in newer members because they joined when the game was far more complex.
Tyshalle, however, even though I liked him, could be a complete bastard sometimes, and continuously attempted to belittle members who he thought were less intellegent than him. This was the reason he left, he was asked to.

Despite all this, you will be missed, along with the other members who have decided to take the flak of recent events.
