Well.. I just saw the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... and I can honestly say that it ended about thirty minutes ago and I am still in shock... not in a good way... I mean... that probably was either the wierdest or perhaps just the worst movie I have ever seen.
If you believe most of the stories about Michael Jackson.... then perhaps if you watch this you will get some wierd sense that perhaps Johnny Depps inspiration for this movie was, infact, Michael Jackson....
It is completely up to you if you want to go see it... but perhaps you can put your 7.50 towards a different movie... say Wedding Crashers.. which also came out today and I now wish I had put my money to go see it.......................
Good luck to those who see it.

If you have read any of the Road Dhal books then you will get an idea of this man's style of storytelling. Same guy who wrote James and the Giant Peach if that helps set the stage in your mind. Far cry from Whacko Jacko, this man created a reality unto himself.

Ok... after seeing it a second time... yes boys and girls... a second time... with a different group of friends.... I have decided it wasn't all that bad... I mean.. The first time I was just in SHOCK... this time.. I laughed a good bit... I guess go in there... if you don't like it the first time.. see it a second.. perhaps on DVD... and you might like it better then...

I too saw this movie. I loved it. Everything from the Oompa Loompas to responses that WW gave... it was all great. Plus i saw a preview for "Corpse Bride" which looks very interesting as well

I saw the It yesterday, thought it was really great. And the preview for "Corpse Bride" so if you liked The Nightmare before Christmas you will like that one.
