Check me here, all I have to do is activate my MxO account using my CD key with my SoE account, and I will have all my charachters and whatnot? Who here has gone through this process, and if so, could you give the rest of us some pointers?

Current Players:
Most importantly, make sure you click the CONVERT MY ACCOUNT NOW! link first. On that page enter your current MxO log on information.
 
If you have an active account, you do not have to enter your CD key again. If you reach a page asking for the CD key, then you went to the Station account page without using the CONVERT MY ACCOUNT NOW! link.
 
All Players:
You don't have to have a Station account before you register--you can create a new account from the above page.
 
The Fanclub ID is your forum handle.
 
If you reach an error page, try starting over again--the system remembers where you left off. If it says you've already registered, then you did succeed in linking your account to MxO.
 
If you go to the forums page (http://mxoboards.station.sony.com/ and are getting errors trying to log on, try using the Register button on the right side of the page. (I had to do this one, myself.)
 
I'll try and gather more answers to the questions I'm seeing and post them here.
 
Gamecards:
If you used a gamecard to subscribe to MxO, any remaining time will be credited to your account. However, you will have to submit a new form of payment in order to transition your account to SOE. This can be a credit card, global collect, or a gamecard that has not yet been entered into the billing system.
 
If you use a valid credit card to transition your account, you can cancel the subscription plan after your account is transitioned over and still play out the remaining time from your gamecard. If you do so before the remaining time expires, you will not be charged--your first billing period doesn't begin until after any remaining time is used up.

Stupid thing gave me "Invalid Station Name Length".  WTF?

my station name = boombye
mxo account = boombye
soe forum name = boombye

so i went to registration page and clicked CONVERT NOW and entered in all my information, and when I got to the credit card info page, where it asks me to enter my stuff, i closed my window... because i had just converted my names...the cc page is just for additional time, which they don't tell you..


But i just payed for MxO!!!! <-THIS IS WHAT MANY OF YOU MIGHT SAY

I got charged two weeks ago, after going thru all the pages on the coverting part of the SOE registration page, i stopped at where it asks for my billing plan.

i won't have to enter in my cc information until my current time(pre-transition) is over.

so yeah soe aint gettin my info til my 3 months is up.. and i can still play

make sure that if you already did have an soe station name that you dont fuck with anything because your fine if you did that i had some problems earlier with that whole type in your cd key thing because i already had a station name but forgot about it

Use lower case letters for all usernames. Even when putting in your old Monolith account information!!!!
