That's right, my hometown boys are in the Series. I grew up a true southsider... a Sox fan. Going to old Comiskey Park was great as a kid. Watching Ozzie Guillen play shortstop as a great player was good memories. Watching the game at the new Comiskey Park from the nosebleed seats sucked, but watching my father spill 2 beers down the shirt of the guy in front of us in 30 degree weather was halarious. Getting new seats behind the dughout was sweet...

Then I stopped caring for a bunch of years. I grew up. I found a woman, who regretfuly was from the northside. She brought me to a Cubs game and I liked it. Yes... I'm sorry, I liked it. A few months later, God goes "Hmm... well he seems to be turning. I know what will fix this *ZAM*BANG*ZOOM*WHITESOXWORLDSERIES* "

Yeah, so last week I decided to become a baseball fan again.

Welcome back, but I'd rather see it be the Cubs.

You all are lucky Arod is infecting his virus into New York and making them suck.  Yankees will rise again.

lol, I just love every year the Yankees don't win the series. It's too redundant and they are the best paid team in baseball. It's always fun to see talent win through against money. The Yankees are far too commercialized for my liking, narturally, I'm a Marlins fan.

Been a Sox fan for over ten years.  i can't tell you how excited i am.  they're playing great.  i was worried when they started to fall apart after the all star break, but right now, i think they're unstoppable.

GO SOX!!!

Yeah I used to play for the Sox at Horner Park, best place to have played baseball growing up.... and then later the A's... both uniforms were awesome to wear.... that and we kinda pwnd

but yeah i never really liked the cubs and im from the north side.. i always liked the sox growing up

see with the yankees, everyone knows their games were rigged n shit.. just like we know houston is going to play us in the world series to make papa bush happy, like other texas sports teams that he's been visiting lately....

i mean, look at the bulls, and no matter how many times they won, nobody got sick of it because it was real talent and skill, and nobody dared to say it was too commercialized...

sadly sports will become more and more "entertaining"....

i mean look at those horrible half-time shows at football games..

the cool thing about the sox is that they are just a great team playing incredible baseball.  they're, what, like 15th as far as team payroll?  i love how people are talking about how other teams will take influence from how the sox are playing ball this year.  it's a shame thomas wasn't able to contribute much to this season, as long as he's been with the club.

Yup you caught em thats why they lost the first series.  /sarcasm off.

Come back to me when another team wins 26 World Series from 1903-1999.  They are a great Dynasty.  You need to take a look at their lineups of every winning year.

As far as you talkin about Texas, double LOL!

heh, it's fun to interrupt the sox riots on campus by running around saying "go cubs!!" ... or better yet, "go bears!!" ..... that really confuses them >^_^<

it's true though, so i don't watch anymore sports unless carmello anthony is playing or if it's a chicago team doing good.

as for the yankees, they've been just that, a dynasty... and people are sick of it..

What did i say?????????  Houston going to World Series. Once again, bow down to Texas.

Have you even seen the World Series commercial, the only one I saw, which was on Sunday, had the Astros in it, and nobody else. and they were in the bleachers saying to watch on the 22nd on fox..

maybe there was one for the cardinals too, or one with the sox in it... but i never seen 'em...
