So.. since I missed beta... and I missed 99% of this event...
I am judging by the comments that it was NOTHING compared to the end of beta event

Really truely if you guys look at it, the event wasnt bad at all. Look at other games they get nothing like this if they had this event in there game they would be like OMG that is the awesomest thing ever! We are just spoiled with our old LET and all the stuff they did where they were able to have tons of people running around the city at the same time on all servers etc. Now if you ask me I had fun during this event, it got me back in the game to play which I havent really been doing last couple months.


Edit: It was no where near the awesomeness of end of Beta but that will probley never be matched.


Edit2: plus after all the post event looking over that is going on it appears there is still more to this event just not at this moment....cause think about it, it was said we would be able to get the items a few weeks after this weekend, thus meaning the concert sites stilll there, thus meaning they still have a purpose.

The SOE devs had huge shoes to fill once the LET was fired.  I can't imagine it being an easy job, so I don't want to rag on them too much.  But I did find it odd that we were turning the lights off in order to stay "awake".

Then as each day progresses potentially fewer and fewer people will get to the end, and when they do, not only do they get recognition, but they actually change the outcome of the event based on their org, ie mervs win, then something in the storyline changes to benefit mervs or hell even possibly make it that "winning" an event actually hurts your org/faction within the storyline making events juicy and rewarding as well as dangerous and harmful.

Now that's what I'm talkin bout Willis.  One of the things they promised, I'm sure...

That's shitty that it was so bad, but I could have guessed it the second they posted that blue sky image that looked like it was made in MS Paint... though other games don't get these events, they were never promised them. We were, and supposedly monthly.  We waited and waited and it wasn't really worth it from what I heard.
