They closed up that sharing workaround, Manic, so you sharing your posts don't get people invites anymore.

Fuse, aren't hangouts via video? Or can it be just audio as well?

Yup, he's right. I just checked the email and just asks if i wanted G+ to keep me posted on when they are taking invitations.

Fuse just sent me one as well. Same thing...doesn't work. Although now I have a new bar on the right side of my gmail...might be part of the new Google+ theme that you can choose from Themes. It's called "Preview".

Same thing with Google Docs and Google Calendar, I believe. It looks like all of the Google apps are going for a unified appearance.

And yet it STILL won't let me join...

Also, saw a news report this morning that said Mark Zuckerberg is leading the pack with the most followers on Google+ so far.

No, I just tried clicking it again and suddenly it let me sign up. Nothing special. My personal gmail account still can't get access, though.
