In all the stuff I read, Nolan said that he enjoyed making it but he wanted to focus on the movie as a "Stand-alsone" film. That's awesome that they'll be making more. Nolan took an amazing approach to the film and Bale is just the perfect Batman in every way. BATMAN PWNS!!!!!!

I've seen it twice already, I thought it was great.  As long as they keep up with the quality, I think it's great that there's going to be two more.

***SPOILERS*****DON"T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN*****SPOILERS***

Overall opinion, loved it. If I had to be critical there a few things that bothered me. Leeam Neilson (however it's spelled) is not a very believable ninja. I would have had an easier time if he had been teachin batman the bagpipes. Just not a believable role for him. Secondly, Scarecrow gets takin out by a friggin tazer by batman's chick:P Come on, one of the main bad guys? May as well have pepper sprayed him and hit him with a purse. Other than that, good flic and several cuts above any other batman effort I have even seen.

Liam Neeson (Ra's Al Guhl) wasn't a ninja.  He was a trained assasin.  A good assasin never LOOKS like a trained assasin.  Looks have nothing to do with the art of killing.

As far as the scarecrow, I seriously doubt he was "taken out", but he was a pansy assed pencil pusher.  What do you expect?  He wasn't a hard ass tough guy.  His power over people was based only on their fear of him, nothing more.  Tell me why a taser would NOT have taken him out.  I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him.

I just got back from seeing it.  This movie is AMAZING!!!  That pretty much sums it up.

I was glad to see that this film didn't follow the "Who's the big villian?" trend that plagued the previous franchise.  Nolan focused more on the development of Wayne and Wayne as Batman, as well as his war against crime in general, rather than a specific enemy.  It added a better sense of reality to the film.

Yeah, I'll seeing this one again.  :D

So who else saw Robin? Anyone, anyone? Because you all did, lets see how long until you figure out who he is.

That was a damn sweet movie, I'll be buying it when it comes out for the $19-$21 range. (Thats how I rate movies now, $25 range, $19-$21 range, $15 range, $9.99 special range, $5 range, and "Oh my god, I need to burn my eyes out.")

Phienyx is right, Liam even said it himself. That deception and distraction are the ninja's greatest tool. He used deception to make Bruce think that the japanese (ninja looking) guy was Ras Al Ghul and his acting was just what the character demanded. I didn't see any problems with it.

Secondly, Scarecrow got hit the FACE with the tazer. I wanna see you or any other villan brush that off like nothing, NO ONE CAN. This was meant to be a realistic adaptation of the comic character and succeeded admirably in that right. This is not a "comic-book" movie, there are no uber fantastical stuff going on. Just real characters doing what most real people would do. That is why it is great, it deals with the reality and psychology of the characters, not fantasy action and all that.

Lastly, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT EROZ? I MUST KNOW WHERE THIS "ROBIN" IS!!!!!!!!

He's probably talking about the kid that saw Batman on the side of the building and said his friend would never believe him.  I think this is the same kid that is with Rachel with she shoots the Scarecrow in the face with the taser.

I am too for the most part, but if they didn't mean for it to be that way, they should rewrite the next script so it is that way. Because it's just too damn cool.
