Strod, what install problem are you having? I'm sure there's a fix or at least a discussion about it on the forums if there's some kind of bug.

Yea, I've looked up and down on the forums and nothing that has worked for people has yet to work for me.

I got my email last night and went to the website to download it.



I click the button above.



This pops up and extracts until the bottom bar if full. My computer then asks if I'm sure I want to let this program make changes. I say yes and the box goes away and nothing happens.

I have uninstalled AVG and nothing else seems to work.

Is your spyware/virus scanner snagging it? I had to completely shut down my PCTools Spyware Doctor because event though I added permission for the program to run it would still kill it. Shutting it down solved the issue and I was able to install just fine.

Trying to get windows to work again on my mac pro so I can play this weekend...no fucking jokes about macs.

... For whatever reason, once I have the SWTOR_setup.exe and I click it, I can get no further in the process.

Delete the download and download it again. Sounds like you may have a corrupt or incomplete file in the bin.

So when I first signed up on the forums I regeisterd under my hotmail account and Tbone said that those are usually slow on acknowledging so I then did it again with my gmail account.


I've always been using my hotmail account, but guess what I just got in my gmail....
